국가무형유산 악기장 임선빈 보유자는 12살부터 북을 배우기 시작했습니다. 처음 들었던 따뜻한 엄마 품 같은, 그리운 북소리를 잊지 못해 북일을 시작했죠. 그렇게 60년 넘게 현재까지 북 메우기, 가죽 무두질, 울림의 조율 등 전통 북 전반의 기술을 계승하고 있고, 여러 국악인의 요구에 맞는 소리북을 제작하고 사랑받고 있습니다.
National Intangible Cultural Heritage Musical Instrument Master Sun-bin Lim started learning to make Buk at the age of 12. Because he couldn't forget the first time he heard Buk sound like the warmth of his mother’s arms. For over 60 years, he has inherited the skills of the traditional Buk, including stretching a cowhide over either end of a Buk(The most important tasks, so it means all technologies of making Buk.), and tuning the sound of Buk. He has made and loved Buks for the needs of many national musicians.
