문인영 도예가는 전통 물레 방식과 판작업을 고수하고 있습니다. 모든 면을 판을 밀어 조각하는 제작과정은 절대 쉽지 않고 건조 시간도 매우 깁니다. 건조까지 끝난 후, 가마에 들어가도 50%도 살아남기 힘들죠. 이렇게 긴 시간을 거쳐 세상으로 나온 도자들이 여러분의 공간을 채우고 즐기며 위로를 건넬 수 있는 힐링 오브제가 되기를 바랍니다.
In-young Mun, Potter
In-young Mun uses the traditional potter's wheel and clayboard bonding method. The process of carving by pushing the clayboard bonding on all sides is not easy and the drying time is very long. Even after drying, less than 50% of the pieces survive the kiln. We hope that the ceramics that have gone through such a long process will become healing objects that can fill your space and bring you comfort.

우리나라 꽃 재배에 관한 첫 기록은 백제 진사왕 때로, 『동사강목』에 따르면 390년, 궁실에 연못을 파고 산을 만들어 여러 종류의 꽃을 심었다고 합니다. 특히 조선은 상림원을 두어 궁궐의 정원·과실·화초를 관장하게 했고, 문인들 사이에서도 화훼 취미가 성행했죠. 이는 단순히 아름다움을 추구하는 것을 넘어 자연과의 조화를 생각하고 심성을 키우는 일이었습니다.

The first record of flower cultivation in Korea dates back to the time of King Jinsa of Baekje, and according to the 『Dongsagangmok』, in 390, he dug a pond and built a mountain in the palace and planted various types of flowers. In particular, Joseon dynasty had a Sanglimwon to oversee the palace's gardens, fruits, and plants. And the hobby of flowers flourished among the literati. It was not just about pursuing beauty, but also about harmony with nature and cultivating the mind.
